come to save us, Lord our God!

O Emmanuel, Rex et legifer noster, exspectatio gentium, et Salvator earum: veni ad salvandum nos Domine Deus noster.

Take the first letter of each of the Latin titles of the Messiah for each antiphon in reverse chronological order:

It spells ERO CRAS which in Latin means “Tomorrow I will come.”

Isaiah 7:14

Matthew 1:22-23
All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet:
“Behold, the virgin shall be with child and bear a son,
